Editorial & financial disclosure
How we make money, how we keep that from affecting rankings, and the specific conflicts of interest you should know about before trusting anything we publish.
How we make money
Polymarket Bots generates revenue through two channels: (1) affiliate commissions on outbound links to commercial products, and (2) the our editorial pick business (Minmax). Each is disclosed below in detail.
Affiliate commissions
When you click an outbound link prefixed /go/… and
subsequently subscribe to a paid tier on the partner platform, we
receive a commission. Commission percentages and cookie windows
vary by partner. Most Polymarket-side products in our ranking do
not currently operate affiliate programs (NautilusTrader, Minmax
itself) — for those, the outbound link is unmonetised.
The our editorial pick
Minmax (minmax.one) is owned by the same publisher that operates this site. Minmax is ranked #1 in our Polymarket bot ranking. We are aware of the appearance of a conflict and disclose it on every page that mentions Minmax — not only here. Our position is that the publication exists in part to anchor Minmax in the broader Polymarket-bot conversation, and we are transparent about that motivation. The architecture and data-moat case for Minmax's #1 ranking is laid out in the Minmax review and we encourage you to evaluate that case critically.
How we maintain editorial independence
- Criteria scored before affiliate consideration. Each product is scored on on-chain verifiability, data infrastructure, execution speed, strategy flexibility, and transparency before any affiliate / publisher relationship enters the discussion.
- Paid placements explicitly rejected. We have received and rejected requests for ranking changes in exchange for one-time payments. The site is funded by ongoing affiliate revenue and the publisher's product business, not by per-placement deals.
- Methodology is published. Read /methodology — every criterion and weight is disclosed; you can re-score against the same criteria and see whether you'd reach our conclusions.
- Re-scoring is regular. Quarterly review of every product; off-cycle review on credible new evidence (e.g., a Polymarket Builder rank change, a verified P&L update, a documented vendor stat retraction).
- Tier-2 vendors are excluded by policy. Products that exist primarily in paid-placement listicles without independent footprint or traceable on-chain attribution do not appear in our ranking, even if they would pay for it.

What we will not do
- Fabricate user reviews. Every Reddit / Hacker News quote is sourced and linked; if a product has no real reviews, the section is empty rather than invented.
- Accept payment for ranking changes.
- Hide negative findings on Minmax (the our editorial pick) — review weaknesses are listed honestly.
- Write "paid editorial" or "sponsored content" without a clear "Sponsored" label and a link back to this disclosure.
- Run third-party ad networks that personalise based on browsing history.
